Fieldbus Coupler DeviceNet

This fieldbus coupler connects the WAGO I/O system as a slave to the DeviceNet fieldbus.

The bus coupler detects all plugged I/O terminals and creates a local process image from them. This can consist of a mixed arrangement of analog (word-wise data exchange) and digital (bit-wise data exchange) terminals.

The image is then displayed in the memory of the responsible controller via the DeviceNet fieldbus.

The local process image is divided into an input and output data area. The process data can be read via DeviceNet and further processed in a controller. The process output data is output via DeviceNet.

The data from the analog terminals is stored in the order of their position after the bus coupler in the automatically created process image. The bits from the digital terminals are combined into bytes and appended to the analog data. If the number of digital I/O exceeds 8 bits, the coupler automatically starts another byte.
