With the OCPP variant, OCPP is a standardized and open protocol for communication between charging points and a central system, where a charging point operator can monitor the status of charging points, authorize who can charge fees, or perform remote actions like stopping an ongoing transaction. To establish the OCPP connection between the charging point and the central system, the charging point manager sets up the network connection and OCPP parameters via the myWallbox app or portal.
