Chlorine (in the form of sodium hypochlorite, calcium hypochlorite, chlorine gas, chlorinated isocyanurates, and others) is established worldwide as the primary disinfectant. The DPD1 tablets, reference TbsPD150 from Water-ID, are specifically designed for the precise analysis of free chlorine and free bromine in pool water. Compatible with photometers such as PoolLab 1.0 and 2.0, they ensure reliable measurements that are essential for maintaining optimal water quality. Regular monitoring of free chlorine is crucial for effective disinfection, while measuring free bromine is important for bromine-treated pools. These tablets dissolve quickly, providing easy application and accurate results.

Instructions for use: Fill the measurement cuvette of the photometer with pool water. Add one DPD1 tablet without touching it directly with your fingers to avoid contamination. Stir until the tablet has completely dissolved. Insert the cuvette into the photometer and start the measurement. Interpret the results according to the manufacturer's recommendations and adjust water treatment as necessary. For a complete analysis, it is recommended to also use DPD3 tablets for measuring total chlorine and phenol red tablets for pH measurement.
