This protection for analog signals and current loops includes signals from current loops (analog measurements of sensors over long distances) such as 4-20 mA and 0-20 mA, accommodating two, three, and four-wire configurations without a common reference potential, for example, in level measurement. It also supports signals from voltage transmitters (analog measurements of transmitters at short distances) like 0-10 V and PT 100, for temperature measurement.

The device includes a pluggable arrester that allows for uninterruptible and impedance-neutral plugging and unplugging, and it is testable by the V-TEST device. Its space-saving design accommodates two analog signals. The version features a floating PE connection to avoid potential differences and complies with the IEC 62305 installation standard (D1, C1, C2, and C3). An integrated PE foot safely discharges up to 20 kA (8/20 μs) and 2.5 kA (10/350 μs) to PE. The voltage levels are color-marked for quick identification in the control cabinet, and a coding element provides safety functions for different voltage levels.
