The protection of analog signals and current loops includes signals from current loops (analog measurements of sensors over long distances) such as 4-20 mA and 0-20 mA. It supports two-, three-, and four-wire configurations without a common reference potential, for example, in level measurement. It also accommodates signals from voltage transmitters (analog measurements of transmitters at short distances) like 0-10 V and PT 100, for example, in temperature measurement.

The device includes a pluggable arrester with uninterruptible and impedance-neutral plugging and unplugging, and it is testable by the V-TEST device. Its space-saving design supports two analog signals and features a version with a floating PE connection to avoid potential differences. It complies with the IEC 62305 installation standard (D1, C1, C2, and C3). The integrated PE foot safely discharges up to 20 kA (8/20 μs) and 2.5 kA (10/350 μs) to PE. The colored marking of voltage levels allows for quick identification in the control cabinet, and it includes a safety function through a coding element for different voltage levels.
