With Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY, specifically developed for electrical applications, the protective insulation is integrated into the blade, allowing for blades that are up to 33% slimmer. This way, slimBits can effortlessly reach deep-seated screws and spring elements. The insulated slimBits are subjected to a piece inspection according to the international standard IEC 60900, enabling safe work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. 6 mm slimBits should only be used in the slimVario® bit holder and slimTorque VDE bit holder (VDE torque system).
