This pulley can be used to change the guidance of the rope within a cable pull. The force distribution can also be changed using the pulley. In this way, a wire rope hoist can be easily adapted to the conditions on site.

The side covers, which are mounted on a movable axle, are turned apart and the rope is inserted into the pulley. When the rope is in the pulley, the covers must be twisted together again until the two eyelets are on top of each other. The eyelet should be fastened with webbing or a sling made from a textile material. Hooks or eyelets made of metal must not be used to fasten the pulley. The bearing of the pulley must also be greased before first use.
