The piston ring compression band set helps to insert pistons without damage. The piston rings fitted on the piston are compressed together at the joint by the compression band, allowing the piston to be easily inserted into the cylinder. The set includes six different compression bands as well as a compression clamp.

The compression bands come in sizes 73-79 mm, 79-86 mm, 86-92 mm, 92-98 mm, 98-105 mm, and 105-111 mm. The height of the compression band is 40 mm. This type of compression band is designed for engines where the piston is inserted into the cylinder from above. The connecting rod is then bolted to the crankshaft. This type of compression band is not suitable for engines where the cylinder is placed over the piston, as there would be no way to remove the compression band without damage. All these tools are neatly and completely organized in a sturdy plastic case.
