Cleaning and Maintenance:
Annual maintenance is limited to checking the filter media and the UVC lamp. The UVC lamp should be replaced after 6000–8000 operating hours. The optimal time for replacement is at the beginning of the pond season in spring. The pressure pond filter features a modern cleaning system that can be controlled via a switch with two functions.

EasyClean Backwash Functions:

• Switch Position "Filter" = normal operation – Water is drawn through the pressure pond filter with the help of a pond pump and returned cleaned to the pond.
• Switch Position "Clean" = cleaning operation – By flipping the selector switch, the integrated motor in the filter head is activated, which sets the filter sponges inside the pond filter into motion and cleans them of coarse dirt without needing to open the pond filter. In cleaning mode, the dirty water is diverted through an additional connection and can be used, for example, for garden irrigation.
