With the undercover jig set from wolfcraft, you get a comprehensive complete package that contains everything you need for drilling and screwing hidden wooden joints. In just 3 steps, you can join workpieces precisely and stably with little effort. The centrepiece of this set is the undercover jig - a drilling template for pocket holes. Special drill bits, depth stop, hexagon spanner, screws with matching screwdriver blade and screw hole covers are also included. With the undercover jig, you can create precisely guided angled drill holes into which you then screw the screws to join the wooden parts precisely and stably. You can measure the board thickness directly on the drilling jig. There is a practical pre-setting for all standard board thicknesses from 12 mm. A stepped drill bit is also included in the set: The tip of the drill bit is used to pre-drill a small guide hole for the screw thread, while the 2nd stage of the drill bit pre-drills a larger hole for the screw head in the wood. To do this, push the parts close together and align them correctly. When you now press the boards together, the metal pins of the dowel pins will drill into the wood of the wooden panel positioned opposite and mark the correct drilling position for your subsequent dowel holes.
