2. tesa Clip-on insect screen clip-on frame for windows
Tesa Insect Stop with clip-on frame offers reliable protection against insects and scores points with its simple installation and long service life. The mosquito net is easy to install. After measuring the window, the four plastic strips are cut to size and joined together. Remove the protective film from the plastic strips and place the self-made frame on the net to prevent it from slipping. Then turn the entire frame including the net over. Then press the cover strips firmly onto the frame - this fixes the mosquito net in the frame. Now all that remains is to cut off the overhang with a carpet knife. The self-adhesive retaining clips are glued into the window frame. The retaining clips form the bracket to which the frame is simply clicked into place. Making measurements on the door frame, sawing and deburring aluminium profiles is a thing of the past. Support brackets with tesa Powerstrips are temporarily attached to the door frame in order to place the frame on them and adjust the size. These support brackets are later removed again without a trace. All parts required for installation are already included in the scope of delivery: Metal hinges, a circumferential brush seal, closing spring and strong neodymium magnets. This adapter is the key element that allows you to install your tesa® insect screen frame on a balcony or terrace door - without the need of drills or screws. Installation is simple, as you just position the fasteners on the door frame, press the sides to fit the frame, and tighten the fastening screws. At the end of the summer, they can be removed in a few minutes without leaving any marks or unattractive holes. This set of adapters allows you to install your tesa® insect protection on almost any door frame*.
*Suitable for frame thicknesses, including seals, from 13 to 20 mm and an insertion depth of 19 to 26 mm. The adapter is suitable for door frames with an uneven surface. For other types of frames, please check first. In the case of external roller shutters, allow for a larger gap between the door frame and the shutters of 18 mm.
