As a general rule, we recommend removing the roof before heavy rain showers. We must also point out that the cover must be removed in case of snow, as the roof beams are not designed to bear that load. The pergola is assembled with screws made of steel, which cannot be powder-coated. Therefore, they will rust over time under normal weather conditions. However, this rust usually only becomes visible when the roof is disassembled. If this is bothersome, the rust can be easily removed with commercially available rust removers. Note: Please do not wash the cover. The fabric should only be wiped clean. After handover to the carrier, the delivery time can take up to a week.
