Differential's question seems to me very important and deserves an honest answer from Galaxus. This is also true for all the other (many) items that have a similar situation. A plastic box and a different plug do not justify this price difference (63 chf!). Someone along the line is taking that money from consumers. The economy is really rotten. Thanks Galaxus to make a post about this, in the home page would be correct.
Thanks for the answer, but it doesn't answer the question. The question was "Why is there such a big difference in price between two almost identical products?
I found a bit of an answer on some forums. Basically, the cheaper item is imported in a different way from the EU (which is why you need an adapter for the plug you supply).
So you could ask the question in this way: "Why do products that have a plug that requires an adapter, which are supplied, cost less even though they are the same as the others?
A friend of mine warned me about warranty issues: are the two products treated in the same way if you need to make use of them?
I'm still of the opinion that there's a scam going on somewhere and that we need to be clearer about this.
Prices are based on supply and demand, but also depend on the suppliers and the availability of the goods. Prices can also fluctuate on a daily basis.
Many posts are available on this subject, we can for example offer you some answers here: https://www.galaxus.ch/fr...
