Good Morning All This smart switch, does it act as a button? That is: when I press the button on the phone screen, the contact remains closed; and only when I release the button on the phone screen does the contact open? Thank you

The Meross garage door opener (GTÖ) "sends an impulse" to the garage motor. So it is a galvanically isolated contact (relay; normally open) in the Meross GTÖ. The HomeApp on iOS even displays a sliding contact (open and close the door).
