Question about Sonoff SNZB-03
I have Apple Homekit at home with a Philips Hue Bridge. Can I add this detector without further ado or does it need a Sonoff Bridge?
Should be easy to do via Hue Bridge. I have integrated it via Deconz and HA
Does the integration into ioBroker work without problems?
Does not work directly. Couldn't get it to work with the Hue Bridge either (not recognised). I would recommend other, higher quality products. Hue if a bridge is available, Eve to connect directly to homekit (without bridge) etc.
I couldn't get it to work without the Sonof Bridge.
But I have since replaced the sensor with the Hue sensor.
This sensor only "triggers" every 2 minutes. Makes it very tedious to turn the light off automatically. What if you are still in the room but the sensor triggered 1min ago?
(This is what the HUE sensor does for us).
My conclusion - bought cheap is bought 2x
