SD card works but the laser is not recognised via Lightburn. Neither on Mac nor on Windows. Various cables have also been tested. Is there another tip here?

As soon as you have opened the lightburn, you must select the laser at the bottom right

I only use the SD card, so I'm sorry I can't help you. I have never connected directly to the PC.

This works well for me (Win11 / LightBurn 1.7.04). You can select the devices in the Laser window. Under Search lasers you will see a list of connected lasers, select them and confirm with OK. The Falcon has the name GRBL-M3 1.1e.

In Lightburn, you must select the correct COM port for devices. For me it is 3.
