Zaptec terminals must be activated/commissioned by an electrician approved by Zaptec. Is this really the case? If so, what is the point of buying such a terminal on galaxus and not via the approved installer who will have to do the commissioning (I suppose 2-3 clicks in the app dedicated to installers)?

Nah, just an electrician is fine. There's no special way this box is installed to any others. 3 lines in (or one, depending on your needs) a ground and a neutral is standard non rocket science electrical installation. Saying only a certified one is the only way is just an upsell of preferred providers. After install it's all controlled from an app. Done and dusted.
