The field railway tracks feature an integrated metal insert to increase the pressure of the wheels on the rails. This ensures a secure contact and high traction for a smooth ride. The track oval requires a space of approximately 265 x 375 mm. To operate the railway, two 1.5 V Mignon batteries LR6/AA are needed (not included) or a power supply with 3 V direct current. Since the locomotives have a minimal power consumption, the batteries or rechargeable batteries last a long time.
