Even a Carrera car needs to pit sometimes.

Experience real racing excitement on the DIGITAL 124 or DIGITAL 132 track! The Pit Lane adds an essential racing element to your Carrera track. The Pit Lane works in conjunction with the Control Unit or the Black Box. However, the extended refueling function is only available when used with the Control Unit.

The Pit Lane offers you three new ways to make the races on your track even more exciting and to incorporate tactical elements.

Automatic Lap Counting

A lap counting feature is integrated into the Pit Lane. Especially during longer races, it can be easy to lose track of the laps completed. Thanks to the automatic counting, you can fully focus on your lap times. The lap counting can also be disabled if desired.

Refueling Vehicles

No matter the racing series - the pit stop is always a special moment. When used strategically, it can determine victory or defeat. This is also true on your Carrera track! You can set it up so that the slot cars must make regular pit stops. If you don't pit, the slot cars will slow down, potentially changing the outcome of the race. To read the fuel level in your tank, you will need the Driver Display.

Use of a Pace Car

The Pit Lane can also be used to lead the race with a Pace Car. Just like in real races, you can bring out the Pace Car after accidents to recover vehicles that have gone off track. Just make sure that the slot car has Pace Car electronics. If you want to use the refueling function and a Pace Car simultaneously, you will need two Pit Lanes.
