Experience real racing vibes with the DIGITAL 124 or DIGITAL 132 track! The Pit Lane adds an essential racing element to your Carrera track. The Pit Lane works in conjunction with the Control Unit or the Black Box. However, the extended refueling function is only available when used with the Control Unit.

The Pit Lane offers you three new ways to make the races on your track even more exciting and to incorporate tactical elements.

Automatic Lap Counting

Lap counting is integrated into the Pit Lane. Especially in longer races, it can be easy to lose track of the laps completed. Thanks to the automatic counting, you can fully focus on your lap times. The lap counting can also be disabled if desired.

Refueling the Vehicles

No matter the racing series - a pit stop is always a special moment. When used strategically, it can determine victory or defeat. This is also true on your Carrera track! You can set it up so that the slot cars must regularly make pit stops. If you don’t pit, the slot cars will slow down, and the outcome can change completely. To check the fuel level in your tank, you will need the Driver Display.

Use of a Pace Car

The Pit Lane can also be used to lead the race with a Pace Car. Just like in real races, you can bring out the Pace Car after accidents to recover vehicles that have gone off track. Just make sure that the slot car has Pace Car electronics. If you want to use the refueling function and a Pace Car at the same time, you will need two Pit Lanes.
