Switching device for the DPSI RV family / DPSI TWIN / DPSI LR. It generates the on and off signals for the electronic switch in the respective system. The switching process is carried out with an external magnet. There is a connection option for two standard battery controllers on the back. Installation on the inside of the hull is possible. Note: When used with older models of the DPSI RV (before June 2009), the DPSI must be sent to Hacker for minor modifications (free of charge). The other DPSIs (Mini, Magic, 2001 RV) are not affected! The magnetic switch for the DPSI TWIN is not applicable. The shutdown process of the DPSI operates with a Hall sensor. Hall sensors respond to magnetic fields. In the presence of very strong magnetic fields (e.g., electric drives), the DPSI may shut down. Current-carrying cables generate a magnetic field. Therefore, please route all cables carrying very high currents (>100A) at least 3 cm away from the DPSI.
