Bothar Shadowhorn, a distant cousin of Thord Ironjaw, has little in common with his heroic relative. The Shadowhorn clan, once proudly allied with the army of Leodysseus, was swayed long ago by Arethyr's promises of wealth and power. Bothar's insatiable thirst for blood is only surpassed by his hatred for Thord, whose Ironclaw clan serves as a grim reminder of what his people once were and what they have become now.
