The author, born on November 12, 1967, is well-known to a broad audience under the name "Gecko Keck" as an illustrator and designer, and has been established in the creative scene for a long time. Almost everyone is familiar with his designs for Ferrero's Kinder Surprise Eggs (over 5,000 designs and 300 models) or the bayala® world he developed for Schleich®. He has contributed as a designer to numerous licensed products of major international brands such as SpongeBob, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Hello Kitty, Tabaluga, Asterix, The Incredibles, and Peanuts. To date, over 60 books by Gecko Keck have been published, some of which are children's and youth stories, while many others focus on painting and drawing. He has particularly made a name for himself as an author of children's drawing books and as a manga artist. Numerous courses on these topics have already taken place across Germany.
