Unlike other FrSky 2.4GHz receivers and 868MHz receivers, the Tandem Dual-Band receivers operate simultaneously on both 2.4GHz and 868MHz frequencies. This means they offer not only low latency but also a wide range with high reliability and anti-interference performance. The receivers in the Tandem series feature a triple antenna concept that allows for the broadest possible multidirectional coverage of the radio signal. The 868M antenna comes in a newly developed compact design but maintains the same performance as the original 868M antenna. The TD MX provides 4 PWM channels on a small, lightweight board and includes multiple connections such as SBUS Out, SBUS In (signal redundancy), S.Port, Inverted S.Port, and FBUS. With the FBUS protocol, the Tandem series receivers can be seamlessly paired with multiple telemetry devices, simplifying device setup. Additionally, data (power and signal) during unusual conditions in flight can be recorded by the Tandem receivers through the built-in Blackbox function.
