The latest gyro generation GY470 weighs only 3.7 g and is an evolution of the proven GY440. By utilizing the latest MEMS sensor technology (MEMS = Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems), a compact size of just 20.5 x 20.5 x 11 mm is achieved. Another advantage of MEMS sensors is their speed; particularly for the rapid maneuvers of 3D acrobats, the GY470 offers quick response behavior and a firm "lock-in." It is suitable for all types of helicopters (electric and combustion) as well as rotor diameters. It is also ideal for micro helicopters, as the lightweight of small power E-Helis requires high control speeds. All necessary settings can be made via switches or controllers on the gyro itself, without the need for a PC or setup software. Both connection sides are plug-in and can be easily adapted to model requirements with different patch cables (plug/plug) of various lengths.
