That is why Gollnest & Kiesel, or GoKi, plants a new forest in the forest-poorest state of Schleswig-Holstein every year – one tree for every newborn child. Since 2004, more than 400,000 beech, oak, and maple trees have been planted. Gollnest & Kiesel is also socially engaged worldwide, helping to establish schools in developing countries where children have the opportunity for education. It goes without saying that no GoKi toy is made by children: "We make toys for children, not by children." In GoKi's own factory in China, Western standards regarding occupational safety and security are upheld. Toys should be fun and safe. To ensure the highest safety standards, the GoKi quality management team constantly tests all products in their in-house laboratory. External testing institutes also regularly conduct extensive tests on GoKi products.
