Product details

Transparent polyester iron-on film for covering aircraft models, roll 200x64 cm.

KAVAN transparent iron-on film is made of a very thin and light polyester polymer with high strength, covered with a layer of heat-activated adhesive. It is supplied in rolls 64 cm wide and 2 m long. The underside with the adhesive is protected with a transparent film.

KAVAN iron-on film is resistant to modelling fuel, glow ignition fuel, ignition fuel and petrol.

The film thickness is 50-60 µm (including adhesive) and the basis weight is 63-65 g/m2.

The film shrinkage is 5-10%, uniform in all directions.

Ordinary modeling irons and heat guns can be used for ironing, the working temperature range is approx. 95-180°C. The optimum temperature for attaching to the structure is approx. 95-100°C, the temperature for clamping is approx. 130-140°C, for strongly curved surfaces 140-160°C.
