German Federal Railways (DB) Class 103 Electric Locomotive. Version with short cabs, single-arm pantographs, end fairings, and buffer fairings. Basic color scheme in crimson red and beige. Operating number 103 152-5. The locomotive appears as it did from 1979 onwards.

The locomotive is equipped with an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It features a regulated, high-efficiency drive with a centrally mounted flywheel. Two axles in each bogie are driven via cardan shafts, and it is fitted with traction tires. Triple headlights and double red tail lights change with the direction of travel, operate in conventional mode, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at the locomotive ends 2 and 1 can be switched off separately in digital operation. There is a dual A-light function. The cab lighting changes with the direction of travel, and both the cab and engine room lighting can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free, warm white and red LEDs are used for illumination. The roof equipment is detailed with new tools for the Class DBS 54 pantographs, which can be raised and lowered digitally. There are many separately attached replicas of control wheels in the cabs, grab handles, windshield wipers, UIC sockets, and roof ladders. The buffer height complies with NEM standards. Brake lines, sockets, steps, prototype couplings, and tight fairings are included separately for mounting on the locomotive. The length over the buffers is approximately 22.4 cm.
