Most additional parts are predominantly made of metal. Elaborate model with many attached elements and a highly detailed cab. Smoke chamber door that opens. Movable cab doors and much more. Equipped with an mfx digital decoder with 32 functions, regulated high-performance drive, and sound generator with wheel-synchronized running sounds as well as extensive sound functions. Operates with alternating current, direct current, Märklin Digital, and DCC. Built-in buffer capacitor. All driving axles powered. Built-in smoke generator with wheel-synchronized steam emission, multi-stage cylinder steam, and steam whistle. Drive system lighting, three-light front signal with era-appropriate light coloring, changing with the direction of travel. Headlight operates conventionally, can be switched digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white LEDs. Red end signal switchable/on-off and cab lighting. Digitally switchable, multi-colored firebox lighting (flickering) with motorized firebox door and rotating stoker figure to realistically simulate the filling of the firebox. Equipped with spring buffers, front of the locomotive with screw coupling, rear with remote-controlled Telex coupling, interchangeable with screw coupling at the back.
