Product details

ORACOVER has unique processing properties, allowing it to be applied and removed with an iron without damaging the film. It is fuel-resistant up to 250 °C and temperature-stable. Even after prolonged use, it does not wrinkle or bubble and has an almost indestructible color layer. The hot-melt adhesive is activated at 100-120 °C, making it safe for processing with Styrofoam cores and paintable. The material is supplied in units of 1 linear meter.

ORATEX® is an ironable polyester covering fabric, ideal for all scale models, large models, and historical models. Here are five good reasons that make ORATEX® covering fabric so special:

Easy application: Thanks to the flexibility of the material and a 15% biaxial shrinkage, ORATEX® can be effortlessly applied around edges and curves. Wrinkles can be easily removed with a film heat gun or hot air blower.

Fantastic high adhesive strength: ORATEX® has double the adhesive strength of conventional covering fabrics.

Remarkable strength and durability of the fabric.

Protective seal: ORATEX® comes factory-sealed with a fuel and oil-resistant coating. You can paint ORATEX®, but it is not necessary!
