This is a printed variant of the articulated tank car in the design of Era VI. In the early nineties, the first tank cars with a so-called articulated tank were built. The design of the tanks was such that the two halves of the tank tilt towards the center by 3° each. As a result, the tank contents, primarily mineral oil products, can be drained almost completely without any additional aids. Since the vehicles, made of lightweight steel construction, are suitable for higher speeds, they were soon acquired by other companies across Europe. These cars can be found as P (Private) cars in the inventory of all European railway companies.
