In the 1970s, Europe's railways technically converged while retaining their distinct character. This was evident in the joint procurement of modern passenger coaches. This groundbreaking design also enriches the PIKO range and complements the IC ʼ79 coaches with the legendary Avmz 207, as well as the possibility to arrange international long-distance trains. The vehicles have been accurately produced in a scale of 1:87 and feature perfectly matched shapes and colors. The delicate bogies can be seen as examples of contemporary design, and the precise engravings of the roof profiles attest to this. For a varied model railway operation, an LED interior lighting system specifically designed for this coach type can be easily retrofitted. The widespread use of the prototype allows for numerous variants from different railway administrations, thus representing a European railway model.
