Following the E 91 series, PIKO introduces another significant representative of the vintage electric locomotives with the E 32 series for N gauge tracks. The rod drive and spoked wheels, along with the compact design and axle arrangement of 1’C1’, hint at the resemblance of these vintage electric locomotives to steam locomotives. PIKO now presents this piece of railway history as a perfectly crafted model in a scale of 1:160. Notable features include finely detailed elements such as the rivets on the roof, attached sandboxes, brake hoses, and handrails. Contemporary lamps and the delicate pantographs complete the model aesthetically. Technically, the locomotive impresses with a factory-installed LED lighting system that features red tail lights. For easy retrofitting of a digital decoder, the model is equipped with a Next18 interface.
