The electric multiple unit BR 442 "Talent 2" - the prototype of the PIKO model - has been in use since 2011 in regional transport by DB AG as well as by private railway companies throughout Germany. In a scale of 1:160, the distinctive front sections, the bogie covers, the body, and the intricately designed roof section are accurately reproduced. The drive system is designed to allow for an almost unobstructed view through the car body, even in the small N scale, while still ensuring good driving characteristics. For easy installation of a digital decoder, the multiple unit is equipped with a PluX12 interface. Additionally, the model is prepared for retrofitting with sound.
