Powerful, compact, and yet extremely delicate, this new construction from PIKO is presented. The robust design of the prototype has been perfectly captured and scaled into the model. Thanks to the intricate bar frame and the unobstructed view in the engine area, the massive boiler appears to almost float. This impression is further supported by the fine wheel stars of the chassis, which also features a delicate brake linkage. The typical architectural features of the prototypes have also been taken into account in the model's implementation. The crystal-clear window inserts of the cab and the unobstructed interior allow a view of the detailed boiler and cab back wall. The zinc die-cast and metal parts give the model a very high weight, which, combined with the finely tuned motor with flywheels, ensures optimal driving characteristics. With the factory-installed PSD XP sound decoder, the lights of the engine and cab, as well as the flickering in the firebox, can be digitally controlled.
