Revell Color is a synthetic resin enamel paint that does not attack the plastic surface of model kits. However, many other materials can also be painted using the popular 14 ml paint can favored by many hobbyists.
All shades, except for signal colors, are mixable with each other and can be thinned with Revell Color Mix. This allows the paint to be applied not only with a brush but also with a spray gun. For cleaning, Revell Painta Clean is used for brushes and Revell Airbrush Clean for the spray gun.
This color is used as part of the new standard camouflage paint of the Air Force along with 378 Dark Gray, 67 Olive Gray, and 77 Dust Gray, as well as for the surface camouflage of the new standard paint on US Navy aircraft (e.g., A-6E, EA-6A, F-18, F-14, etc.).
