Product details

The most famous British aircraft of World War II had excellent flight characteristics and performance. The first production aircraft were delivered in July 1938. The RR Merlin engine produced 1,470 hp, with a top speed of 594 km/h. The landing gear is optional in two positions. It features detailed surfaces with recessed engravings and a detailed cockpit with an instrument panel. Decals are included for two versions: Vickers Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb AE-A 402 Squadron, flown by S/L Jeff Northcott D.S.O, D.F.C, Duxford 1943, and Vickers Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb AZ-G 234 Squadron, flown by O/O Axel A. Svendsen Tangmere 1942.
