Sellmer Publishing has been around since 1945. As the first Advent calendar publisher after World War II, Sellmer entered the market. It was founded by the grandfather of Frank and Oliver Sellmer, the current owners.

That’s why there are still many classic designs available today. A treasure trove for nostalgia lovers!

Even with new designs, we always ensure that the front image continues to live on when the doors are opened. The background image complements the scene on the front. A nice surprise every day. In the city motifs, landmarks of the respective region as well as Christmas ornaments are depicted.

All our Advent calendars and Christmas cards are made in Germany. We are a small family business with about 10 employees.
