With the Z21 digital central unit, you can conveniently control your layout using a smartphone or tablet. The multiprotocol central unit is the ideal control system for locomotives with DCC or Motorola decoders (MM), as well as for managing your digital components. The central unit connects your layout and digital locomotives via Wi-Fi to your smartphone or tablet, using the installed control apps, whether it’s one of the digital cab apps or the Z21 mobile app.

With the model-specific cab apps, you can easily control everything by tapping the realistically arranged controls: pushing the virtual throttle forward accelerates the locomotive. Tapping the horn produces the characteristic locomotive sound. Similarly, you can conveniently control the headlights, interior lighting, and all other digital functions of the locomotive.
