Train set 3 "Arlberg Express" featuring two passenger cars from the Austrian Federal Railways. It includes a domestic second-class passenger car, type Bmpz, and a first/second-class car, type ABp. The "Arlberg Express" was one of those trains with a memorable name, whose introduction dates back to the era of transcontinental luxury trains. Unlike its siblings, the "Orient and Oostende Express," it traversed all of Austria from west to east. Over time, the train evolved into an international service with through coaches. In addition to the core service from Vienna to Paris, the train carried numerous through coaches, for example, to the Salzkammergut region and from there to Salzburg, where they were detached from the train. There were also through coaches from Vienna to Carinthia and East Tyrol, which were further transported from Schwarzach-St. Veit via the Tauern Railway. Depending on the configuration, it is possible to recreate the train in various setups such as Vienna – Salzburg – Schwarzach St. Veit – Innsbruck – Buchs with the offered sets.
