Compatible with the old Lokmaus 2 system. Up to 9,999 locomotive addresses can be controlled via direct input, with 64 of them able to be stored in a database and named, e.g., 103RB (103 red-beige). Up to 29 functions (including front lighting) can be activated per locomotive, provided the machine is equipped accordingly. Locomotives can be operated with 14, 28, and 128 speed steps, which can be set as a default but changed individually for each locomotive if needed. Through two different programming methods, you can configure your locomotive decoders according to your preferences: the most important CV values one to five can be accessed directly using the key combination "Menu" and 1–5, while the possible 1024 CVs can be reached through the programming menu. Of course, all values up to 255 can be programmed, depending on the decoder configuration. Reading CVs 1–1024 is possible in conjunction with a reading-capable amplifier. Switch mode: The Z21 Multimaus can switch up to 1024 magnetic items. These elements must have an electric drive and be connected to a magnetic item decoder. The programming of the magnetic item decoders is then done electronically via the tracks. In conjunction with 10764, the Z21 Multimaus plugged into the master input becomes the central unit.
