Product details

Scale model of the fire-fighting boat Düsseldorf in 1:25. The fire-fighting boat Düsseldorf was developed and built by Rheinwerft GmbH & Co. for use in the Ruhr area. Equipped for emergencies, whether it be a burning ship, spilled oil, or an explosion-prone port facility, it can spray water or foam with 10.5 bar pressure up to 95 meters away and 45 meters high using its fire monitors. The two 12-cylinder V-engines, with a combined output of 930 kW (1260 HP), give the boat a top speed of approximately 37 km/h.

The robbe kit of the fire-fighting boat Düsseldorf is excellently suited in size and equipment to replicate the diverse operational capabilities of the original in model form. Functional components such as the fire monitors, crane, anchor winch, radar, searchlights, blue light, horn, and siren, as well as diesel sounds, can be installed. The robust plastic hull is large enough to accommodate the numerous units for all special functions. Two proven robbe Navy compact drives provide the model with high speed. Four large rudders ensure extreme maneuverability in both forward and reverse. The fire monitors can be tilted horizontally and vertically via remote control. With the recommended electric gear pump, they can spray up to 6-8 meters. The boat crane allows for the faithful lifting and lowering of the deep-drawn dinghy overboard.

The kit includes the pre-formed hull and deck, the pre-formed wheelhouse made from transparent material (eliminating the need to cut out windows), and additional components cut with a laser. The complete rudder system, stern tube with ship shaft, propeller, and coupling. Self-adhesive decals and masking templates. Multilingual assembly instructions and construction plans.
