The FG-19R3 is currently the smallest 3-cylinder radial engine from Saito. It is ideally suited for sport or vintage models. For example, this engine is a very good choice for a Seagull P-47 (1.6 m). Who doesn't know the stunningly beautiful 4-stroke engines from Saito! Known for years for their highest quality and reliability. Saito engines gained fame during the era of glow plug engines. Always designed as 4-stroke, featuring a black casing with a golden valve cover or simply in a silver casing. Later, modern large-displacement gasoline engines followed in various cylinder configurations, also in typical 4-stroke design. These new gasoline engines quickly became very popular, as they were considered powerful and reliable from the start. Gasoline engines have a lower fuel consumption than glow plug engines, and the fuel is also significantly cheaper. The electronic ignition allows the engines to start without a glow device, greatly improving user comfort compared to earlier engines. Typically, regular unleaded gasoline is used in conjunction with high-quality 2-stroke oil at a ratio of 15-20:1. An English-language manual is included with the engine.
