The penguin from Schleich Wild Life is an emperor penguin. It is the largest and heaviest of all penguins. Additionally, it is the only one that lives this far south in Antarctica. Emperor penguins do not build nests; instead, they incubate their eggs directly on the ice. While the female wanders to the sea to dive for fish after laying the egg, the male incubates the egg. He places it on his feet and folds his belly pouch over it to keep it warm.
