The students were able to take their first steps in disc golf with the School Set Take Off and the lightweight discs included. Now, the next step follows: the Sportime School Set Flight, the next step to improve throwing technique. The set contains 15 putters weighing between 165 g and 175 g. The discs are characterized by good grip and very stable flight characteristics. Over time, the students' throwing technique will develop, and the discs will then allow for accurate target throws from greater distances. From now on, glide and throwing distance also come into play. The 15 midrange discs in the School Set Flight are the ideal disc golf discs to further strengthen throwing technique and achieve greater throwing distances. Depending on the strength of the throw, students will notice that the discs take different flight paths. Practicing approach shots with the midrange discs towards the basket is the optimal preparation for future throws with distance drivers to achieve maximum throwing distances. We recommend starting training with distance drivers only once the students' throwing technique has solidified. If distance drivers are used right from the start, frustration can quickly arise, as the discs may not perform as expected. Therefore, each student should make their own selection when transitioning to distance drivers and start with the lower speed ranges of the discs. Training tips: Now it's about increasing the students' accuracy. A disc golf basket should be set up as a target so that students can get accustomed to throwing at the baskets. Additionally, obstacles can be incorporated into the courses using available school supplies like marking cones, gym mats, jump boxes, etc., to increase the challenge.
