The DS made its debut in 1955 and attracted a lot of attention with its unusual design. By 1975, 1.45 million vehicles had been produced, making it one of the most famous cars of the 20th century. The Tamiya model in 1:10 scale is based on the MB-01 M-Chassis. This chassis allows for the choice of drive type (front or rear motor) as well as motor position (front, rear, low/high). Power is provided by a strong 540 electric motor, and the wheels feature independent suspension. This special version comes with a pre-painted body in PS-4 Blue, and the windows are tinted with PS-31.
