Product details

The production of the King Tiger began in 1944, as World War II was nearing its end. Equipped with the Henschel type turret and an 88 mm gun, along with thick armor, the King Tiger was a feared tank for the Allied forces. The precisely replicated model kit in 1:16 scale perfectly represents all details and is fully functional. Thanks to two motors, the tank can turn on the spot, and both the turret rotation and the alignment of the gun barrel are remote-controlled. The engine sound was recorded from the only operational King Tiger in the world, located at the Tank Museum in Saumur, France, which is powered by a powerful Maybach V-12 engine with 700 horsepower.
