Duo LEDs are excellent for front and rear lighting of locomotives and cars. However, they only have a common cathode (-) and therefore cannot be connected directly to the function outputs of locomotive and function decoders. This issue is resolved by using an intermediate function inverter. This lighting conversion kit includes all the necessary materials for converting the front and rear lighting of a locomotive (6 x yellow, 4 x red).
