The UMS star engine with 125 cc and 5 cylinders is a high-quality gasoline engine for RC flight models with high demands. The manufacturer UMS offers a unique range of star engines.

The engines are characterized by a robust and elaborate construction and are designed for scale model enthusiasts who want to give their model a unique character and stand out from others. UMS has developed a series of five gasoline engines and three glow plug engines to cover the entire spectrum of required types. Particularly, the small-displacement engines allow for the faithful motorization of comparatively smaller scale models, especially warbirds.

The gasoline engines feature an electronic ignition system powered by a LiPo battery. A gasoline/oil mixture is used as fuel. All engines are delivered with a silencer included.

Please note that the ignition for this engine is supplied separately and is not integrated into the engine itself, so it will require space in the fuselage.

Tomahawk Aviation has taken over the general distribution of UMS engines for Europe and America. The service for the engines is provided in Germany, and spare parts are available from Tomahawk Aviation. Like all Tomahawk Aviation products, UMS engines are also available at selected specialty retailers.
