In a hole in the ground lived a hobbit.

Bright, round doors in summery colors adorn the lush, grassy slopes of Hobbiton like wildflowers. Behind each door, cozy, well-furnished caves wind into the earth, each a home for a hobbit or a family of the rosy-cheeked little folk of the Shire.

Each hobbit hole is unique and reflects the personality of its inhabitants through colors, gardens, furniture, and the rustic abundance of everyday life.

Among the prosperous smials of Bagshot Row and the sprawling estate of Bag End, Hill Lane winds around the gentle slopes of the hill, where some of the more modest hobbit homes of Hobbiton can be found. Number 2A, with its charming turquoise door, is one of these smaller yet still beautiful holes. It is said that on a warm summer evening, you can see the hobbit who lives there enjoying a well-deserved Southfarthing beer.

Each hobbit hole is an individual dwelling and is perfect for creative placement in your cabinet. With a flat back and a shallow depth of just 55 mm, they can be placed on mantels, ledges, shelves, and in windows.

This beautiful little setting is an exact miniature replica of the film set that can be visited in Hobbiton in Matamata, New Zealand. It was designed by the same artists and craftsmen who worked on the film.
