Product details
He was something like the all-rounder from Flensburg for small jobs – as nimble as a city weasel. Today, the Tempo Matador is regarded as a transport legend, as thousands of businesses relied on it during the post-war years on their way to economic recovery. The Flensburg shipping company "Transit Transport 3111" once set the standard that WIKING now contemporarily miniaturizes for everyday logistics. Heinrich Peter Petersen founded the shipping company at the Flensburg harbor in 1947, and in 1962, a new shipping facility was opened on Schleswiger Strasse in Flensburg. Thus, the Tempo Matador with the simple cabin and high flatbed appears as the "quiet hero" of the economic miracle. Especially in this version, the Tempo Matador was highly valued in Flensburg because it was ideally suited for typical transport tasks. The cabin features a gentian blue hood, with transparent front headlights. The interior includes a black steering wheel and a black chassis. The loading area is blue. The rims are carmine red with silver hubcaps. Decorative strips and door handles, as well as the Tempo logo and Matador lettering, are silver. The taillights are printed in red. On the side, there is a white inscription "Transit Transport Flensburg" on the flatbed, along with the logo on the driver's doors. A white company inscription on a blue background is displayed on the front of the tarpaulin. The rear also features a white phone number.
